Support Mykl Wells' Cardboard Creations for Cartasia

Tucson-based artist Mykl Wells earned a coveted spot as guest artist at Cartasia, the international cardboard sculpture festival in Lucca, Italy. The honor came with a catch: the festival covers only part of his expenses.

Wells is among the most inventive practitioners working in cardboard today — his constructions push the material far beyond its humble origins. A GoFundMe campaign was launched to cover the gap and help get him to Lucca.
